Citation Canada, formerly HRdownloads,™ Company Culture Awarded National Recognition

(London, ON): Citation Canada, formerly HRdownloads,™ is thrilled to announce our organization has been recognized as one of the Best Workplaces™ in Canada for the sixth time, earning the 29th spot out of the top 50 companies with fewer than 100 employees. This year’s list, and related stories, will appear in a special national report on Friday, April 27, 2018, in The Globe and Mail.

“A great company culture has to be built; it’s not something you can create just by buying a ping pong table,” says Anthony Boyle, President and CEO of Citation Canada, formerly HRdownloads. “We’ve built our culture on a fun and engaging foundation, where employees are encouraged to achieve great things and given a chance to thrive.”

“Our mission is to create an environment where people are free to be themselves, excel in their roles, and achieve success both personally and professionally,” says Boyle. “We provide complete support to our employees through work–life balance, growth opportunities, and plenty of perks—including wearing what makes you feel like your best self, whether that’s jeans and a t-shirt or a suit.”

The 2018 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results, and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

This year’s list received over 400 registrations and over 80,000 employees participated in the 2018 “Best Workplaces™ in Canada” survey, rolling out to impact over 300,000 Canadian employees. For more information, please contact the Institute at or visit
