The opportunity

Our business development specialists are masters at making connections quickly, identifying decision makers, overcoming objections, and closing the deal!

As a business development specialist you will:

• Acquire new business by proactively reaching out to organizations across Canada in order to introduce HRdownloads and its suite of products;
• Conduct a minimum of 50 web-hosted presentations monthly with business owners and C-level executives;
• Follow a proven sales process; and
• Achieve daily and monthly metrics and revenue goals.

About you

You are a sales professional who:

• Is ambitious, confident, competitive, and coachable.
• Has the ability and desire to influence others.
• Can tackle objections with ease and close the deal!
• Has been successful in the service industry, retail sales, or a similar inside sales environment – B2B? Even better!
• Is passionate about sales and driving new client acquisitions.
• Has a record of exceeding targets.
• Excels at making connections with business owners and C-level executives.
• Has a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or demonstrated success in sales.

The perks

• The rewards are plentiful! Our compensation plan (base + commission) will allow you to realize on-track earnings of $45,000 to $80,000. But, for the elite, the sky is the limit. It’s all up to you.

About you

You are a sales professional who:

• Has 5 years’ inside sales/account management experience. B2B? Even better!
• Is ambitious, confident, competitive, and coachable.

• Will be responsible for web design for all business units, the corporate web site, and other web-based applications.
• Will work directly with project stakeholders to ensure web-based applications meet business and user requirements by coding new web applications, as well as supporting current solutions.

• Are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellence in project completion and deliverables.

About you

You are an IT professional who has:

• A degree/diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience with HTML, CSS, SQL, and PHP.
• Experience with Laravel 5.2 or higher.
• Strong database management skills and schema design experience.
• Experience with source control applications such as Git.
• Experience with third party APIs (e.g., Salesforce and Hubspot).
• A solid understanding of web architectures, user-centric design, and usability testing.
• Experience building multiple web applications of increasing complexity, including e-commerce sites.
• Knowledge of database-driven web application design.
• Knowledge of web servers (e.g., Apache).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated deadline management and project management skills, and the ability to remain flexible when faced with changing deadlines and requirements.

• Monitor and evaluate phone calls according to the company’s pre-established quality standards and guidelines.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of all completed call reviews
• Calculate and compile metrics relating to representative calls.
• Liaise with management team in order to provide reports and recommendations on team progress and areas of improvement.

About you

You are an individual who:

• Has 1-2 years’ quality assurance or call auditing experience – B2B? Even better!
• Is analytical, learns quickly, and has a keen eye (and ear) for detail.
• Has previously worked in a sales or customer service/client facing environment.
• Can communicate both verbally and in writing with ease.
• Has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
• Is comfortable planning and sharing personalized coaching and/or feedback with management to relay to their team.
• Has been successful meeting and exceeding quality assurance standards in the past.

It’s a bonus if you have:

• B2B quality assurance experience.
• Experience with Salesforce.
