Occupational Health & Safety - Returning to Work

Absenteeism can have a significant impact on an organization through lost productivity and decreased employee morale. When one member of the team is away, the others generally have to take on the extra work. The key for employers is to develop a strong 'return to work' policy that balances the need to return the business unit to full productivity with the needs of the individual. In this module, we will review the importance of early intervention, employer support systems, responsibilities, policies and programs and measuring program effectiveness.
